Brian holds an LLB from Moi University and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with Vast experience in Litigation Law and Commercial Law.
He has headed the Litigation department in the Law firm of Kithi & Company Advocates where he worked for almost two years. He was the Head of Law Department before being promoted to Director of Legal Affairs at Pioneer International College where one of his core duties was to recruit, develop and retain talented legal minds to build on a curriculum for the Institution. He has worked alongside Sir Pravin Kumar Bowry during his time as the Assistant Director of the Keya Anti-Corruption Commission. In the year 2008, he was the aid to Musyoka Annan (SC) in the Independent Review on Electoral Commission – IREC (the Kreigler Commission) as well as the Commission of Enquiry into Post-Election Violence (the Waki Commission). Currently a Managing Partner at Brian Otieno and Company Advocates. He is also a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the East African Law Society.
